Life ‐ Transforming Poison into Nectar
27th of August, 2012, 1‐4 pm. A parade on Strøget from The Town Hall Square to Amagertorv, Copenhagen

J&K, Life ‐ Transforming Poison into Nectar / The Community Cycle, Copenhagen Art Festival, video documentation of performance, camera + edit:

A hand‐pulled wagon filled with nettles, displaying a scarecrow, and a humming nettle god, is the centrepiece of a colourful parade of farmers walking through the pedestrian zone much like old‐day farmers from Amager who came to Amagertorv with their harvest. The parade stops at various locations on route to juice the nettles and serve the thick, green juice to the public in hand made clay cups.

Humming God: Jon Bonnici

Juicers: Nick Brooks, Cecilie Johansen, Mette Schwarz
Pullers: Philip Roitmann, Torben Longleg Simonsen
